Acting is an integral part of the training of a peformer, and senior students are offered Acting Workshop classes concentrating on developing technical skills specifically in regards to text based and devised work.
Classes focus on the following:
Interpretative Skills - including exploration of various text and character work.
Technical Skills - including vocal and physical work.
The performance process - including developing understanding of character, situation, staging, context, subtext, style and period.
Students are entered for LAMDA Drama Solo Examinations, and play an integral role in Glenlyn's annual large scale production.
