Acting is an integral part of the training of a peformer, and not only improves dramatic skill, but also helps to improve confidence and general performance ability.
Emphasis is placed on character work, vocal work, imagination and devising. The classes employ a mixture of text (scripted) work and devising.
The School follows the LAMDA examination syllabus and candidates are entered for Acting exams based on ability. For more information on drama exams please click here.
Students in the Drama classes play an integral role in the annual show, and peform small scale productions on a regular basis within their class.
